Police are looking for someone who may have donated more than what was intended to a charity donation store in Cranbourne last week.
A quantity of cash was found among many other items that were donated to a charity store on High Street, Cranbourne, between Thursday 13 July and Saturday 15 July.
The honest staff at the store discovered the money while sorting out items, and handed it over to the Cranbourne police station.
Police are attempting to find the owner of the money, and anyone who may have donated goods and accidentally left the cash behind is urged to contact Cranbourne police station on 5991 0600.
