Armed robbery charges

By Victoria Stone-Meadows

Two Cranbourne men have been arrested following a terrifying armed robbery earlier this month.
Police were called to the Ahmad Supermarket in High Street Cranbourne at about 8pm on Sunday 2 July, to reports of an armed robbery.
When they arrived police allegedly found two men, one armed with a hammer, demanding cash from the shop attendant.
One of the males was arrested inside the store and the second one a short time later.
The two men, aged 22 and 24, have been charged by police and will face court at a later date.
