The Cranbourne Park shopping centre has been awarded two five-star ratings for their baby change rooms from the Australian Breastfeeding Association.
The shopping centre has received The Baby Care Room symbol, which is awarded when a room meets the essential criteria for a Baby Care Room.
All baby care rooms have to meet basic requirements such as comfortable seating, smoke free, safe and clean to change nappies but the rooms at Cranbourne Park go that extra mile.
They were awarded a five-star rating for including elements such as toddler toilets, secure play areas, air-conditioning and private breastfeeding areas and so on.
Australian Breastfeeding Association group leader Jenny Cincotta said the rooms will be of great comfort to the women using them.
“The high standard of the Baby Care Room will be a great resource from many mothers in the area and will provide a welcoming and comfortable space for local breastfeeding mothers,” she said.
