Marijuana plants seized

Almost 100 marijuana plants have been seized from a commercial drug trafficking enterprise in Cranbourne after police raided a Normanby property on Thursday 19 January.
Police raided the property on the back of a drugs, poisons, and controlled substances search warrant where they found 91 plants and a sophisticated hydroponic set-up.
Along with the plants, police found an air rifle, two .22 calibre long arm rifles, and a large quantity of ammunition.
Three people face charges as a result of the raid including a 60-year-old man, a 54- year-old man and a 26-year-old of unknown gender.
The two older males face a number of criminal charges including cultivating a commercial quantity of a controlled substance and firearms offences.
