Pursuit police recover stolen car

A STOLEN car has been recovered after police followed the thieves through the Cranbourne area.
It is believed the crooks gained entry to a house on Portofino Drive, Cranbourne North, through an unlocked door late on Tuesday 6 December.
The thieves stole a set of car keys from the house and moved one car out of the driveway before stealing a Mazda CX9 from the property.
The car was dumped on Sharpe Street in Cranbourne about 12.30am on 7 December and the two thieves fled on foot after police followed the stolen vehicle.
