Licences hard to come by

AN ALLEGED disqualified driver – and his ‘ride home’ – are both facing charges after a police intercept in Cranbourne North.
The first driver, a 22-year-old Narre Warren South man, was stopped in a silver Ford Focus by police on Berwick-Cranbourne Road about 1.40am on Tuesday.
After being discovered as a disqualified driver, the man called a 26-year-old Narre Warren South woman to pick him up and take him home.
A check revealed the woman’s licence was allegedly suspended, police said.
The pair were then driven home by a 63-year-old Narre Warren South man.
The Focus was impounded, costing the owner $1060.
Police said the man and woman were expected to be charged with driving while disqualified and suspended respectively.
