Bike accident claims life

By Victoria Stone-Meadows

A HAMPTON Park man has died in a tragic motorbike accident on the evening of 18 November at River Gum Creek Reserve.
The 52-year-old man was riding a trailbike in the reserve off Coral Drive when one of his bike’s wheels became tangled in discarded wire.
The man was thrown from the bike and the bike landed on top of him just before 8pm.
He was able to dial triple-zero before losing consciousness while speaking to the phone operator.
Police, SES and Ambulance rushed to the scene and attempted to resuscitate him but he was unable to be revived and tragically lost his life.
