An Australian painting that has been travelling all over the country for 33 years is returning to the Melbourne region for the first time since 2006. ‘Three Well Known Australians’ was painted by Sydney artist Martin Shaw and has travelled far and wide and been viewed by many Australians. The painting travels along with year books that viewers enter who they think the three well known Australians are, creating a running commentary of interpretations of modern Australia at different points in time and locations. The painting and year books will be on display at the Endeavour Hills Library until Saturday 3 December.
