WHEN a car alarm goes off in Cranbourne, it’s in everyone’s best interest to be suspicious, as a Cranbourne North family recently found out.
A 59-year-old father heard an alarm ringing out around 3.45am on Friday 16 September, and when he opened his front door he saw a thief driving away in his daughter’s Holden sedan.

The man later noticed an open window and door.
The gold sedan was last seen being driven south on Hamilton Drive.
