WHEN a car alarm goes off in Cranbourne, it’s in everyone’s best interest to be suspicious, as a Cranbourne North family recently found out.
A 59-year-old father heard an alarm ringing out around 3.45am on Friday 16 September, and when he opened his front door he saw a thief driving away in his daughter’s Holden sedan.
His Rosebank Drive home was broken into, and car keys and electrical goods stolen while occupants were asleep.
The man later noticed an open window and door.
The gold sedan was last seen being driven south on Hamilton Drive.
