Car stolen in wee hours

A CRANBOURNE West household was invaded by thieves after a sliding door was left unlocked overnight.
Around 3.30am on Monday 12 September offenders walked inside the Baltic Way home and stole a phone, purse, car keys and other items.
The perpetrators then used the car keys to flee the home in a 2000 Ford Territory which was parked in the driveway.
A female victim and two other people were asleep inside the house at the time of the invasion.
One of the victims discovered that the car was missing around 4.20am, and went out searching for the car.
The Ford was spotted at an address on Clairmont Avenue in Cranbourne, but the victims were unable to get a description of the offenders.
The victims went to source help, and once they returned the car was gone.
