CRANBOURNE Carlisle Primary School celebrated International ‘Talk like a Pirate Day’ a little early this year.
The school dressed up to raise money to build a pirate ship in the central courtyard, on Thursday 25 August.
The ship will provide a shared space for children to engage in unstructured, imaginative play.
Students participated in a range of pirate-themed activities, including pirate lingo, pirate stories and creating pirate treasure chests.
The activities were organised and run by Grade 6 students.
