Midnight deodorant can explosion

RESIDENTS of Hindmarsh Court in Cranbourne North woke up to the sound of an explosion at 12.05am on Sunday 14 August.
People left their homes to investigate the cause of the sound and found a small fire burning on the street.
The residents quickly extinguished the small fire and called police to the scene where a Lynx deodorant can was found to be the fire’s accelerant.
Police door knocked in the area, but had no luck finding witnesses.
Anyone who may have seen the incident or has any information is urged to contact Casey CIU or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
