Raid nets seven men

A NARRE WARREN man was among six other alleged offenders to be charged in Mooroolbark.
A search warrant at the Mooroolbark address on Hayrick Lane, about 9.30am on Thursday 4 August uncovered the men.
But during the execution of the warrant one man armed himself with a knife and refused to come out of the property.
The Critical Incident Response Team attended and attempted to negotiate with the 33-year-old man before deploying capsicum spray and a taser.
The man was then arrested and all seven were taken back to a police station for interview.
A 23-year-old Narre Warren man was charged and bailed.
A 33-year-old man, of no fixed address, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated burglary and assault-related offences. He was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
A 39-year-old man, from Box Hill, was charged with burglary, theft and breach of bail conditions. He was also remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
A 29-year-old man, of no fixed address, was charged with failing to answer bail and was interviewed in relation to a number of unrelated outstanding warrants. He was remanded to appear at Ringwood Magistrates’ Court.
A 29-year-old Mooroolbark man was charged with two counts of theft and has been bailed to appear at the Ringwood Magistrates’ Court on 15 March 2017.
A 28-year-old Kilsyth man was charged with obtaining property by deception and deal proceeds of crime. He was bailed to appear at Ringwood Magistrates’ Court on 7 February 2017.
A 35-year-old Collingwood man was released without charge.
