Police scour tip for human remains

By GEORGIA WESTGARTH

POLICE are currently scouring through rubbish at the Hampton Park tip after a worker reported noticing human remains.
A spokeswoman from Victoria Police confirmed a report of “possible human remains” at the Sita Environmental Solutions tip on Hallam Road on Monday 20 June.
“A worker briefly spotted it about 9.50am this morning, but they were covered by incoming rubbish,” she said.
Police are excavating the site in an attempt to locate the possible human remains.
