Avoid food waste
THIS workshop will help participants to reduce their food waste – and the amount they spend on food.

Library sale
FRIENDS of the Hampton Park Library will hold a book sale this May. Books will be priced between 50c to $5. All the proceeds from the sale will go to supporting events and programs for library users, as well as buying special equipment for the library.

Fund-raising dance
KATHLEEN Keegel Children’s Fund based in Dandenong is responsible for a children’s home, kindergarten and agricultural project in Sri Lanka and is holding a dance to raise money for the centre. Local band MP5 will be entertaining dancers.

Food swap
THE Keysborough Res School Community Swap meets on the fourth Saturday of the month.
Members swap home-grown produce, jams, preserves, baked goodies, seedlings, seeds, cuttings, eggs, books, tools and more.
Keysborough Resurrection School’s productive gardens, next to Keysborough Freedom Club. Enter via the driveway next to the retirement village at 414-418 Corrigan Road, Keysborough.

Create-a-clock

THIS free Me and My Dad workshop will help kids aged seven to 11 years and their parent/carer to build a working clock from wood and other moving parts.
