A 61-year-old Warneet woman was allegedly caught driving while more than three times over the blood alcohol limit, near Tooradin.
It’s believed a woman was driving erratically on the South Gippsland Highway before being corralled in the emergency lane by concerned members of the public about 8.30am on Friday 13 May.
A member of the public called triple zero and Casey Highway Patrol members attended.
The female driver was taken to a police station, where she returned a BAC of .216 per cent.
She is expected to be charged on summons for traffic offences.
