Hunt for knife gang

POLICE are on the hunt for four intruders who allegedly entered a Cranbourne home armed with a knife.
A police report alleges four people entered a residence in Brookland Greens Boulevard via a rear door just before 11.30pm on Saturday 27 February.
Upon entering the building one man produced a knife, punching and kicking an occupant before holding him along with two others in a bedroom, demanding cash and electrical goods.
The other intruders stole various items from other parts of the property before being disturbed when a fourth occupant entered the house.
The intruders then fled over a rear fence.
Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in relation to the incident, as well as an image of a knife similar to the one used.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, in his late teens to early twenties, with a fair complexion and wearing a black baseball cap.
Police urge anyone with information to come forward and contact Cranbourne police on 5991 0600 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
