A CLYDE homeowner witnessed a burglar fleeing over their back fence after the thief had broken into their home.
The victim woke to see their rear sliding door open and a person running to the back fence before jumping it and entering the neighbouring property.
The offender had broken into the Green Gully Road home, about 5am on Saturday 30 April.
Police have confirmed nothing seemed to be missing from the home despite the intrusion.
