A BOTCHED ram raid attempt left the frontage of a Lynbrook store smashed and a car wedged on a steel bollard.
Police were called to the AMX Superstore on the South Gippsland Highway, about 2.30am on Monday 18 April.
The offender rammed the shopfront in a GMC utility, with stolen number plates, but failed to gain entry.
Police set a tracking dog after the escapee who fled the scene on foot, however the man was not caught.
