Shed builds maiden billy cart

By GEORGIA WESTGARTH

LAST year the Junction Village Men’s Shed built 116 wooden toys for charity and this year will be no different.
The four-year-old shed of 15 members has recently put the finishing touches on a billy cart, which will be donated to the 1st Cranbourne Scouts Group.
Secretary of the shed, Garry Cahill, said it was their first attempt at a billy cart.
“It took a few months to put together, but we are really impressed with it,” Mr Cahill said.
The Cranbourne Scouts will auction off the cart in the coming weeks.
