BANDING together in a circle of harmony, students at Lynbrook Primary School performed and dressed up for the cultural day of celebration.
Harmony Day was represented through a series of stories on Monday 21 March, as a sea of orange students leapt back in time.
Grade 2 teacher, Laura Hill, said the message of the day was about “all cultures living in harmony.”
“We had 100 singers, actors and readers performing a timeline of Australia’s significant events at assembly and students created a circular stage for the performance,” Ms Hill said.
The school’s 970 students which represent 22 different cultures, dressed up in either orange, the colour of the day, or in attire significant to their heritage.
“I taught my class about how different cultures celebrate,” Ms Hill said.
