Three netted after stolen car crashed

POLICE caught three men hiding in a paddock in Tooradin after a series of thefts throughout the Bass Coast region.
The offenders from Collingwood, Maribyrnong and Frankston were located in a nearby paddock after they were involved in a car crash, near Lynes Road, on the Bass Highway.
No-one was injured in the collision, which involved another car, on Wednesday 2 March about 10.10am.
The trio were driving a stolen car, which they had used to rob several houses.
Police cordoned off the road at the time, and the men have been processed by the Casey CIU.
