Ute burns

A UTE left on the side of the road in Cranbourne West was set on fire on Monday 7 March, and police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
The Ford utility had been parked on the Western Port Highway between Thompsons and Hall roads for a “couple of days”, said Detective Senior Sergeant Rob Clark from Casey CIU.
“The car was parked on the side of the south-bound lanes and was set alight by unknown means,” Det Sen Sgt Clark said.
The fire was put out by the CFA about 2.45am on Monday.
Anyone with information on the blaze is urged to call Detective Senior Constable Mark Wiederhold at the Narre Warren station on 9705 3111 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
