Breaking boundaries

THE Victorian Electoral Commission is currently conducting a review of the electoral boundaries for the City of Casey.
Under their plan, 9214 voters will be moved out of the wards that they are currently in.
I have made a submission to the VEC detailing how the number of voters affected can be almost halved and will be speaking about it at the public hearing at 6.30pm on Wednesday 9 March at the Old Shire Office (160 Sladen Street, Cranbourne).
The electoral boundaries need to remain relatively constant for us to be able to hold our councillors accountable.
Riley Baird,
Narre Warren South.
