Skate festival targets youth

CASEY will hold a Ride ‘n’ Skate Festival in celebration of National Youth Week.
The State Government has provided a $2000 grant to go toward live music and a BMX, skate and scooter competition.
The week-long celebrations will start on Friday 8 April, and this year will have a strong focus on positive mental health.
Member for Narre Warren South Judith Couacaud Graley said the annual festivities allowed young people to make their mark.
“We know that they have a valuable contribution to make and that’s why we’re helping them to develop their skills and make their voices heard,” Ms Couacaud Graley said.
