St Peter’s College students have banded together with the aim of raising $6000 over six weeks in support of Caritas Australia.
As part of the school’s annual project compassion appeal, the funds raised will be spent helping people help themselves in Papua New Guinea, Cambodia, India, Laos, Malawi and some Australian towns in need.
Gold coins were donated for a pancake morning tea on National Pancake Day on Tuesday 8 March, and the fund-raising program will finish at the end of term one.
