John Glazebrook (Misplaced Faith, News, 21 January) doesn’t understand the vital difference between religion and Christianity.
Religion is man-made effort to earn the right to enter Heaven.
But Christianity, as the Bible teaches, is the vital factor which has made our country so great in areas like freedom, prosperity, health care, and much more, and to prepare the human race for eternity.
When anti-Christian people started ignoring the Bible, crime and evil became worse.
If we put the teaching of the Bible by Christian teachers back into our schools as a top priority, we would soon begin to see a dramatic drop in crime and many other evils in our community and to enjoy the many blessings we once knew.
