THE fire near Cranbourne Golf Club is under control.
The CFA has given the all-clear, but says smoke may still be visible from nearby communities and roads.
Eleven emergency service vehicles battled the grass fire on Glasscocks Road in Hampton Park after 1pm Wednesday 6 January.
Suburbs including Cranbourne North, Narre Warren South, Lynbrook, Lyndhurst and Hampton Park were issued a fire safety warning as crews work to contain the blaze.
