Doors open on a room of their own

A NEW wellbeing workspace adjoining the Hampton Park Community House was officially opened for use this week.
Funded by the City of Casey and the Department of Health and Human Services the extra facility was opened on Monday 14 December and will be used for community programs and activities.
Casey mayor Sam Aziz said the extra room will meet a number of objectives for local residents.
“This community workspace allows the men’s group, as well as other residents of all ages and backgrounds, to participate in programs and activities,” Cr Aziz said.
“One of the key drivers for the development of this workspace was the need for a space for the growth of men’s programs.
“Until now, the Hampton Park Men’s Group have not had a space where they can participate in woodworking activities.”
