Ukulele band brightens day

By GEORGIA WESTGARTH

CRANBOURNE West residents were treated to an early Christmas concert by a group of young carollers at the Willowood Aged Care facility.
Students from Cranbourne West Primary School were accompanied by the ‘UkeWest’ ukulele band on Monday 7 December where they sang a mixture of festive and cultural songs for the residents.
Cranbourne West Primary School’s Debbie Nobbs said the performance left smiles on the faces of all residents.
“The residents love it when our children visit them and brighten up their day,” she said.
