IF WE assume that excessive alcohol consumption is a contributing factor to family violence and other social ills then there is a part solution – have the government legislate to restrict adverting in a similar way to tobacco.
It needs no comment by me or anyone else to know how effective this has been in saving lives and reducing suffering.
