FREE events will be held around Casey in celebration of International Day of People with a Disability (IDPwD).
The Casey community will be able to participate in a film festival, information sessions and market stalls from 1 to 3 December.
Mayor Sam Aziz said the international day of recognition is about encouraging dignity, rights and wellbeing for people with a disability.
“Council invites all residents to come along and celebrate the contributions, skills and achievements of people with a disability in our community,” he said.
IDPwD is a United Nations sanctioned day held on 3 December annually.
