Moses out, brother battles on

By GEORGIA WESTGARTH

NARRE Warren family man Moses Auvale has been eliminated from The Biggest Loser (TBL) series, but said he hoped his Cranbourne relatives kept kicking butt.
Signing up as one of the show’s lightest contestants Moses said it was all his idea – after fearing for his family’s health.
“I wanted to help my brother and his wife to have children because they had been trying without any luck,” Moses said.
The team of four linked by brothers Moses, 39 and Johnee, 38 made up Steve ‘The Commando’ Willis’ black team, with wives Rina and Tenealle.
So far the close-knit unit have lost husband and wife Rina and Moses from the competition after Moses was recently eliminated.
But having entered the competition for his younger brother after feeling a deep sense of paternal responsibility for him, Moses was glad to see the couple still in the competition.
“Johnee and Tenealle can do this,” he said.
“Tenealle has proven the last couple of weeks that she can kick butt – they’ve got this.”
During his time on TBL, Moses went from 122 kilograms to 99.3 kilograms, losing a total of 22.7 kilograms – making him the healthiest he’s been for a while.
“This has been an awesome journey. Going into the TBL house was a big life-changing experience for me,” he said.
“Looking back on my journey, I’ve achieved a lot. I’m so happy now, it’s amazing. How could you not be when you get up in the morning, look in the mirror and like what you see?”
Achieving his goal to feel good at the beach with his shirt off and enjoying shopping for clothes, Moses only hopes his beloved brother and sister-in-law will feel the same.
