HOME-GROWN talent was on display at the 2015 Casey’s Got Talent final held on Saturday 24 October at the River Gum Performing Arts Centre in Hampton Park.
More than 20 local acts took to the stage in front of a packed crowd and a panel of judges, with a variety of individuals and groups being crowned winners in their respective categories.
The night raised $3000 for Kids Diabetes Camps, an organisation founded and run by the 2015 Casey Young Citizen of the Year, Brooke McGowan-Grills.
Councillor and organiser Louise Berkelmans said the judges did an amazing job in the face of a very difficult decision, in particular actor Rahart Adams, who hails from Berwick.
“The event was a great success, showcasing the breadth of talent in Casey across all ages and in support of great local charity.”
