Cash demand turned down

By GEORGIA WESTGARTH

WITH his hand under his top a man entered a petrol station in Hampton Park and demanded cash.
The operator of the self-service petrol station did not hand anything over to the offender, and the man then left the store.
The brazen demand for money occurred about 4.30am on Friday 21 August and police are seeking public assistance to track down the man in the released CCTV images.
Anyone who recognises the man is urged to call the Greater Dandenong Embona Taskforce on 9767 7568 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
