EVERY day Brian Miller teaches about all things fitness and is now helping to put healthy produce in the mouths of the disadvantaged instead of the rubbish bin through his personal training business.
The Cranbourne South, 22-year-old and owner of U ’n Me PT will be donating 60 per cent of every new client’s weekly fee to the fresh food redistributor, SecondBite from now to January 1.
“SecondBite mirrors what I teach and want for my clients,” Mr Miller said.
“What they provide for a person in need doesn’t just help put food on the table but fresh, colourful fruit and vegetables which improve their nutrition across the board,” he said.
A transformation specialist, Mr Miller said this was the first kind of charity donation he had undertaken since he started his business two years ago.
“I’m big on health and I know SecondBite is improving people’s lives in such a positive way,” he said.
Established in 2005, SecondBite redistributes surplus fresh food across Australia to those in need.
