FEASTING on food from around the world as part of International Children’s Week, the three-year-olds at Rangebank Pre-school learnt a one big lesson about the globe- that it’s round.
Barbara Ryan-Perkins from the preschool said the children had a good look at the globe on Monday 26 October.
“They learnt that they live on planet earth and helped me identify flags from different countries,” Ms Ryan-Perkins said.
Nine children dressed up in costumes inspired by India, Samoa, Ireland, France and Hawaii and indulged in fried rice, Spanish donuts and apple strudel.
“They made flags and international dolls out of cardboard as well,” she said.
The annual event runs throughout the week at the Cranbourne pre-school.
