New warehouse is handy with the jobs

By GEORGIA WESTGARTH

WITH population booming and housing estates constantly on the rise, a new hardware store in Cranbourne is promising job security.
Masters, on the corner of Spring Hill Drive and Thompsons Road, Cranbourne, has dished out 130 jobs and is set to officially open on Saturday 10 October.
The 13,500 square metre warehouse store is the 62nd Masters to open in Australia – and will be in competition with Cranbourne Bunnings, also located on Thompsons Road.
Offering more than 36,000 home improvement, DIY and trade products, newly appointed store manager Dale Van Brakel said he was thrilled to see so many jobs on offer.
“We’re thrilled to be creating employment opportunities for the local community, giving many new employees their first step,” he said.
