Golf club’s roof fire

A ROOF fire has broken out at the Amstel Golf Club in Cranbourne this afternoon and a number of people have been evacuated.
Five police cars and fire trucks and an ambulance attended the scene at around 1pm today (Monday).
The blaze was reported under control at 1.15pm and fire trucks left the scene at around 1.40pm.
A CFA spokesperson said the fire was contained to the roof at the front of the golf club on Cranbourne Frankston Road.
