Call in for a catch-up

By GEORGIA WESTGARTH

IT’S been 10 years, maybe even 20, since old Cranbourne Secondary College pals have seen each other.
Now they can break the ice again with a 20-year reunion next month.
The graduating year of 1995 will be getting together to reminisce the past 20 years at Settlers Run Golf and Country Club on Saturday 10 October.
Having caught up just 10 years ago, reunion organiser Andrea Clifford said 10 years on the task of organiser has been made easy with social networking site Facebook.
“I’m using the list I made from the year book 10 years ago and contacting parents who live in the same home.
“I’ve called numbers I have on file hoping it’s the same number and emailed the school but Facebook has made it much easier,” Ms Clifford said.
So far 70 out of 185 students, including those who didn’t graduate in ’95, have accepted the invitation for a catch up.
Ms Clifford said the night will include a PowerPoint presentation with old photos and videos from their school days, finger food and a DJ.
“I think it’s just nice to reconnect with people and see where their lives have lead, it’s a fun night and people seem to appreciate it,” she said.
The reunion will kick off at 7.30pm and tickets cost $35.
For more information contact Andrea Clifford on 0487 238 907.
