Hit-run help sought

POLICE are calling for witnesses after a woman was left with two broken legs following a horrifying hit and run in Cranbourne North last month.
The woman was hit by a four-wheel drive on the South Gippsland Highway, about 5pm on Friday 21 August, after the car allegedly ran several red lights and refused to stop.
The 4WD has been described as a dirty grey, older model, possibly a Toyota or Nissan, and is believed to have the words “TURBO” on the rear quarter panels.
If you have any information which may help police identify the 4WD, or the driver, please contact Casey Highway Patrol on 5991 0600, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
