Unroadworthy, blew .249, no licence

A 20-YEAR-OLD Cranbourne woman will be charged on six different counts after she was pulled over by Casey police earlier this month.
The young woman was allegedly driving an un-roadworthy car and blew .249 on an alcohol breath test.
Senior Constable Carter from the Narre Warren police station wrote in a Facebook post on the Casey Eyewatch page that the woman refused to take a drug test.
“And to top it off, she didn’t have a licence!” he added.
Sen Const Carter said the woman would be charged with driving without a licence, drink driving, drug test refusal, careless driving, driving in a dangerous manner and driving an unsafe motor vehicle.
In the State Government’s recent ‘Towards Zero’ road toll campaign, statistics showed close to 40 per cent of drivers killed between the ages of 21 and 25 were over the legal alcohol limit.
