Primary schools targeted by thieves

THREE Cranbourne primary schools were broken into within 24 hours over the weekend.
Cranbourne Primary, in Bakewell Street, and Cranbourne East Primary, in Bowyer Avenue, were broken into in the early hours of Sunday 16 August, between midnight and 4am, while Rangebank Primary, in Lesdon Avenue, was broken into around the same time on Monday 17 August.
A police spokesman said it was likely the incidents were linked but wouldn’t confirm whether anything had been stolen during the break-ins.
