CRANBOURNE is the home of Australia’s best tackle store.
They’ve won it two years in a row and Tackle World manager David Kramer said he was astounded to reel in the number one spot again.
“It is great recognition for our team of staff who work tirelessly to please our customers,” he said.
Recently winning ‘Retailer of the Year’ at the Casey Business Awards the all-fishing, all-boating Cranbourne store was voted in by the Australian public at the Australian Fishing Trade Association awards.
Mr Kramer said his team’s love of fishing was what set them apart from the rest.
“The store employs 10 full-time and eight part-time staff, all of whom have a passion for fishing.
“When your staff love what they are doing for a job, and that is also their hobby, it’s a great recipe for success,” he explained.
This month the family-owned business will celebrate its 26th birthday and Mr Kramer said the tackle store was a proud icon of Cranbourne.
