IT WAS one of the few times for the day when a Seagull actually soared higher than an Eagle at the Tooradin Recreation Reserve on Saturday.
Tooradin forward Ben Hallas was one of his sides’ best players, having a great duel with Cranbourne defender Nick Morrish in a game where the Eagles eventually triumphed by 49 points.
The win leaves Cranbourne in second place and in prime position to launch an assault on its fifth grand final appearance on the trot, and looking to rectify a one and three record in the game that really counts.
