ON ITS first trip down-under Cirque Africa will land in Lyndhurst this month.
Having toured the globe for eight years and performed in Hollywood and for Dolly Parton in France, the new show will tour Australia and New Zealand for the next two years.
The 90-minute performance combines acrobatics, theatre, song and dance and Mr Berman said it is a great celebration of African culture.
The cast will be dressed in more than 200 bespoke African costumes and will be joined by an eight piece live band.

CONCERT Cranbourne Chorale presents Let’s Go to the Movies, a part of the City of Casey Winter Arts Program.
The afternoon will feature the choir singing golden hits from the silver screen and let audience members test their knowledge of the movies to see if they can identify where the songs are from.

Birthday celebrations
U3A Cranbourne is celebrating its 10th birthday and how far it has come in 10 years.
The club has changed locations and added many new classes, including a knitting, cycling and movie theatre group.
This term the club has introduced iPhones, iPads, smartphones and Android tablet classes and is looking for more people to learn how to use them.

Jugularity musical comedy
WITH more than 27 years entertaining, Jugularity’s brand of madcap musical comedy combines skilled, inspiring musicianship with comedy cabaret and includes lively, upbeat, eclectic versions of jazz, folk, blues, rap, country, gypsy and more.
The show is family friendly and includes audience involvement with support act Badfolk Berwick and District Folk Club.

Lynbrook winter talent showcase
SINGERS, musicians, comedians, dancers, magicians, bands and alike are invited to the Lynbrook winter talent showcase.
About seven local performers are already locked in and the Lynbrook Residents Association is looking for more talent.
The event is not a competition and performers have to live locally.

Crystals workshop
THE Learn About Crystals workshop will teach participants about the energy of crystals.
The course covers how to use the healing properties of crystals, how to do chakra balancing, working with a pendulum, gem essences and the elixir of the crystals. The classes will also teach how to cleanse and recharge crystals for maximum results.

Hand sewing workshop
JOIN acclaimed textile artist Leesa Chandler and her team on a week-long series of workshops exploring the art of hand sewing and stitchery techniques.
There will be a pop-up design studio, sewing studio and shop with workshops run by Leesa. Suitable for people with some experience in sewing.

Cooking with dad
The Cook it With Dad program is an opportunity for fathers and children to cook together.
They can learn how to cook healthy meals with dad, spend some quality time together and strengthen their relationship as they meet other families and learn life skills as a team.

Make moisturiser
FACE and body moisturiser workshop will teach the method of preparing and combining all natural ingredients to create a healthy face and body moisturiser.
Each participant will take home a jar of each moisturiser they make along with the recipes.
Ingredients will be available on the day to purchase to be able to make moisturiser at home. Cost includes all materials.

Free hearing tests
BETTER Hearing Australia will offer free consultations and hearing tests in Lynbrook to help people who suffer from hearing loss to better manage their condition.
The not-for-profit organisation provides hearing tests, hearing screenings, understanding hearing test results and advice on managing hearing loss or tinnitus.
Better Hearing Australia (Vic) also runs the Victorian Hearing Aid Bank where eligible people can access free hearing aids.

Walk the centre
CRANBOURNE Park offers health walks where participants are taken by a qualified instructor from the YMCA.
Registrations can be taken on the day and participants are encouraged to wear loose fitting clothes and comfortable walking shoes.
