Reckless driving charges

By LACHLAN MOORHEAD

A MAN has been arrested in Cranbourne West and charged with 37 offences – including allegedly driving at police – in Ringwood on Sunday and fleeing.
Police attempted to stop the car at a service station on Mount Dandenong Road, Ringwood, about 12.40am on Sunday but the driver got away.
Roughly five hours later, police said, the same car was seen in Seymour Street where the driver allegedly drove towards a police van before escaping.
Phillip Ryan, 29, was arrested in Cranbourne West on Tuesday afternoon and charged with 37 offences including reckless conduct endangering life, speeding and evading police.
He faced an out of session’s court hearing and has been remanded in custody to appear at Ringwood Magistrates’ Court later today.
