Running with the pack

YOUNG footballer Blake Rose from Cranbourne joined hundreds of other footy fans at McDonald’s Mac Pack super clinic.
Hawthorn’s Jordan Lewis and Richmond’s Jack Riewoldt hosted the event and ran kicking, handballing and tackling skills with the young players.
Mac Pack ambassador Jack Riewoldt said it was great to have a kick with the group of enthusiastic young footballers who were keen to strengthen their individual skills and play co-operatively in a team.
“Mac Pack is a great initiative that helps to promote a healthy lifestyle. I got into footy from a really young age too, so it’s great to see these kids enjoying the game as a team and have fun while getting active.
“I love sharing some of my footy tips with kids from Cranbourne and who knows, we might be seeing young Blake on the field at the MCG in years to come,” Riewoldt said.
Blake Rose joined 400 other Mac Pack competition winners from around Victoria and McDonald’s Cranbourne North licensee, Ian Seal hopes Lewis and Riewoldt were able to inspire the junior talent.
“Jack and Jordan are two of the best footy players in the league, and more importantly they are well recognised for their sportsmanship and fair play,” Seal said.
