A SUCCESSFUL businesswoman and mother of nine will be the guest speaker at a Casey Cardinia Region lunch in Cranbourne next month.
Doctor Judith Slocombe’s career has spanned many roles, from veterinarian to entrepreneur, business owner, corporate senior executive manager and non-executive director.
She was appointed Alannah and Madeline Foundation CEO in 2005.
The children’s charity strives to keep children safe from violence, with a major focus on cyber safety and reducing bullying.
Dr Slocombe’s accolades include Telstra Australian Business Woman of the Year and in 2003 a centenary medal for service to Australian society in business leadership.
The Empowering Women business lunch will also be an opportunity for guests to network with like-minded businesspeople and enjoy a two-course lunch and glass of bubbly.
Event registration will be held at 11.30am for a noon to 2pm lunch on Friday 14 August at Cranbourne Racing Centre, Grant Street, Cranbourne.
