Man critical after smash

A MAN in his thirties was in a critical condition following a two-vehicle crash in Lyndhurst last week.
Emergency services were called to the crash between a van and a station wagon at the corner of Thompsons and McCormicks roads at 9.43pm on Wednesday 17 June.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said the man was trapped in the station wagon with a suspected head injury and lacerations.
He was airlifted to The Alfred hospital in a serious condition.
His condition was critical but stable, a hospital spokesman said.
